FJ Softshell jacket

"I recently purchased the rust/grey colored softshell jacket. I am happy to report that this is my new favorite jacket. I recently practiced with this jacket in 40 degree rainy weather and was dry and warm (layered up with a long sleeve shirt) with no wind biting through the jacket and no water leaking in. The jacket is really comfortable and i love the wrist closures because the jacket sleeves stay in place and dont slide down onto your palms with the velcro closures. I was able to comfortably practice for 3 hours in the rain and was not distracted at all by the jacket or the weather. Unbelievable product, i absolutely love it and i know you will to."

Colder Weather Play? No problem!
October 5, 2010

"Temps here just hit the 30's last week for overnight. At tee time the high was around 48 degrees, and the SofShell was the perfect jacket. I combined it with a SofShell vest, so as the temps got higher I could easily transition. This jacket (or vest) are the perfect compliment for play in colder conditions where you need warm, but not bulk."

"Another quality product from the best in golf...
Why bundle up? Let technology from footjoy keep you warm.
When a golf jacket is needed, you still want to play YOUR game, right? Not bulky but keeps you more than warm when you need it.
FootJoy outerwear is the best golf outerwear I have ever used. No doubt.
Technology with style..."

Softshell Jacket

"The adjustable collar on this jacket is one of the best ever innovations for foul weather gear. Whether keeping the wind out or those annoying and very uncomfortable drops of rain from running down you back this adjustable cord is the best."

Excellent lightweight jacket

"This jacket is very nice. The material is great for the golf swing. Many golf jackets have a feeling and sound of swinging in a trash bag. Not the case for this quality jacket. I also like the closures. Just a very well designed jacket."
"Again, FootJoy has introduced a superior product for the golfer designed by golfers! This is why I trust and use exclusively all FootJoy products. I leave it to FootJoy to design what I haven't thought of yet. Best products that you get what you pay for!

Softshell Jacket

"I puschased this Jacket last year from my the Pro Shop at my Golf Club on a day that was a bit colder than I was prepared for and I was amazed how warm it kept me. In addition to the warmth it provided I was able to swing freely without any bulk of a jacket getting in my way. This Jacket is amazing and very stylish and athletic looking and I highly recommend it."

softshell jacket
November 18, 2009
By Dougefresh

"The only downside to this jacket is the sizing. These jackets run really large. I normally wear an XL, so got an XL for a gift. By the time I discovered how oversized it was, it was too late to take it back. So, you need one size less than normal (kind of like Cutter & Buck stuff as well). Otherwise, jacket is very comfortable and waterproof. Could use some stretch material for comfort, but better than the old ones. Overall, I recommend it. Just make sure you try it on and get the right size before you buy it!"

Nicest prize I have won in a long time

"I was very fortunate to have won one of these in FJ's national promotion. I live and play in Wichita., Ks where the weather changes sometimes by the hour-not just the day. It is very nice to have a product that with a few adjustments can protect from really cool to a little damp to pretty nice-all in the course of only 4 hours of playing a round of golf. It is lite and comfortable and does not interfear with my ability to swing the clubs. The adjustments on the waiste and sleeves made it easy to make it feel comfortable for me. Thanks FJ for your great products(I also have your shoes and socks)"

Very good jacket
November 18, 2009
By Sleepy

"I am very pleased with this purchase. I have begun wearing this away from the course frequently as well.
The softshell is obviously flexible and has worked very well for me on the course. Full range of motion as the jacket will flex and expand in your swing. The light rain I have encountered on the course beaded off with no problem.
It is lightweight. A good windbreaker. I have started to wear it in the office as it looks fairly professional as well, at least much better than a sweat jacket.
I love this jacket and wear it much more than I expected. The only wish is that it was a little heavier. Maybe more of a personal expectation."

A very good jacket
November 17, 2009
By jungcdmp

"I have worn this jacket when the temperature was approaching 34 degrees. If you wear layers this jacket is very comfortable. It has plenty of room to take a full swing and is very stylish. It is very durable. However, in rainy weather as in the Pacific Northwest it would be wise to wear something that has gortex and is waterproof. The jacket is very good for it's intended purpose."

My New Go To Jacket

"I just got this jacket and it is one of the best I have worn. It is very comfortable, moves with my large shoulders and is very easy to swing a club in. The arm hole adjustments make this very easy to get the jacket on and off as well as keep the weather out.
I really like the feel of the fabric and the way it protects you from the wind and light rain. This will be my go to Jacket in the light rain of WA Winters"
