"This shoe is just an all around comfortable golf shoe. It works well while on the course, and the sporty look lets you dress in almost any kind of style..."

"I have a pair of these that I use primarily for trips to the range, in order to keep the wear off of my other shoes. Somewhat inexpensive but will last you a fair amount of time."

Awesome shoe for the price

"I got back into playing golf about 7 years ago. The first pair of shoes I bought (I wont name them but the company begins with an "E.") didnt last. I bought a pair of Green Joys b/c of the Foot Joy name. Wow was that a good choice. I cant say enough good things about this pair of golf shoes. I live in Ohio so I play alot of golf in 'the elements' and these shoes keep plugging along. I just replaced the spikes after 4 years. (that was very easy to do) My shoes still look and feel brand new. A trick I learned from my father in law to help keep the shoes looking and feeling new is to spray them with Armour All (or similiar) after each round. Whether its water damage or sun damage that stuff acts as a protectant and keeps them looking brand new."
"This is a good shoe as for comfort, have issue with tongue not staying in place. Can be annoying. Overall good shoe."

my first golf shoe.
September 8, 2011
By BigJay
"I have been getting myself back into golfing, after not playing for almost 15 years. When I was younger it did not matter if I wore sneakers or work boots to go play. But after so many years , wanting more performace and 2 knee surgeries , I have desided to buy some golf shoes (fear of slipping on the wet grass or anything) I tried on many shoes and also did not want to spend a fortune. I purchased these shoes. Very comfortable and after playing 10 rounds of golf and many hours at the range , they have not bothered my feet or knees at all. I am very pleased with my choice. I will be buying Footjoy products for many more years...."

Pleasantly Surprised

"I have been a fan of FJ for several years. I typically wear the Icon or Contour series but, I purchased a pair of Greenjoys while on vacation at a resort pro shop (I forgot my golf shoes). The Greenjoys were actually the only pair of shoes the pro shop had in my size so...Greenjoys it was. While not quite as comfortable as the Contour Series I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and performance, especially at this price point. If you are looking for a good golf shoe at a great price you will not be disappointed."

Good Value with Great Performance

"The price is really low for footjoy coomfort and quality we all know and love. The only negative I had is how easy it starts to crinkle where you turn in your swing. Overall one of the best golf shoes under $50"

"I was looking at the Contour or Dryjoy Series, but I'm a 13W foot and in South Florida that is hard to buy shoes for. I finally found these Greenjoys, and love them. With the wide sole, I feel so much more stable. They are very comfortable and stylish. I have only owned them for 3 rounds now and no blisters or any discomfort. I will try an write another review in a month or 2, and see how they are doing."

"Bought these with softspikes/black widows installed and was blown away by the comfort and performance. Stepped in a puddle that would've been too deep for my last pair of hi-tecs and the greenjoys kept me bone dry. One thing to keep in mind would be: replace you spikes with the same type that it came with. I put in stingers and the shoe has almost too much traction!!! Great shoe, great company!"

"I received a pair of the sandals for Christmas in 2008. I wore them for probably 20 rounds in 2009 and found them to be very comfortable and the stability during my swing was a whole lot better than I expected. They are a great option for wearing when you play a casual round with your budies and the weather allows. Since I have had them two more of my friends have purchased the same shoe and finds them to perform suprisingly very good."

"I have worn Green Joys for many years. I have several color combinations to match my outfits. They are very comfortable (from the very first day). I apply a waterproofing solution that is available in most supermarkets for a couple of dollars. Apply before wearing. I do it twice after the first coat is dry. I have NEVER had any leaking. This means you do NOT have to buy the much more expensive Dry Joys and still have the quality of Foot Joy."

Use Greenjoys for "Mud Golf"!
January 4, 2010

"Greenjoys are the entry level golf shoe for the beginning golfer. That's true, but I recently purchased a pair to protect and extend the life and appearance of my FJ Dry Premier Classics and Classic Tour Golf Shoes. I choose to wear Black golf shoes. FJ's will always keep your feet dry, but on damp rainey days, black leather styles need to be polished after they dry to make them look good. I have played two rounds of "mud golf" recently wearing my new Greenjoys and it was great to use a spray cleaner with my dirty golf towel to restore my Greenjoys to new condition instantly! My Classics are slightly more comportable because they are my exact C width and they should be. I bought a pair for my son-in-law because he does not own shoe polish! I like to look like a Pro...until I post my score!"

Best golf shoes Ive ever owned

"My Greenjoys are the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I have ever owned. I almost always walk, so I need a shoe that is comfortable and my Greenjoys have been just that. Even after walking 18 holes, my feet arent the least bit sore. The durability of my Greenjoys has been great. The shoes show no signs of wear and look just as good today as the day I bought them. As inexpensive golf shoes go, you cant beat Greenjoys."
